It is impossible for us to keep track on all events on this page.
Therefore we give you a list in short on the major attractions during the year.
January
- Sale in France.
- Isola 2000, the place to be for winter sports. Busses bring you directly from Antibes (Place de Gaule) or Nice (Gare Routière).
- Other wintersports can be found in a child friendlier area Gréolières sur la neige.
- Circus festival in Monaco.
- Batilux in Monaco (Interior fare)
February
- Mimosa festival in Biot but also in other towns on the Côte d´Azur.
- Mimosa festival in Mandelieu - La Napoule (12-21) with flower parades (14 and 21) and nocturnal parades (13 and 20)
- Carnival in Nice (12-28). Shows every day. (see the programm on www.rivieratimes.com)
- Festival de Citron in Menton (12-02 / 03-03).
- Festival de Mediterrania. Photo and film exposition on the work of Jaques Cousteau (Juan-les-Pins)
- Pain, Amour et Chocolat: Chocolade Festival at Port Vauban in Antibes during the week around Valentine´s day.
March
- Foire de Nice (all news in living and housing)
April
- Voiles d´Antibes (Antibes Yacht show) from 8-11 April 2010
- Antique market in Antibes (the largest in the region)
May
- Film festival in Cannes.
- Grand prix in Monaco (yearly).
- Old timer Grand prix Monaco (every other year even years).
June
- Voiles d´Antibes (Boatshow and sailing races)
July
- Many festivities in almost every town organised by the shopkeepers.
- 14-24 July: 51e edition of the famous Jazz a Juan festival. This year with Manu Katché
August
- Many festivities with fire works at 22.00.
- Fire works competition along the coast line with a changing theme every year. Every saturday at 22.00.
- Red Cross ball in Monaco.
- Lavender festival in Digne (beginning of august), Sault and Esparon sur Verdon (mid august)
September
- Wine festivals in every village.
- Boat show in Cannes.
- Boat show in Monaco
October
- Several fashion shows in the region, on saturdays
November
- 14th: Marathon Nice – Cannes
- Salon de Meubles-Maison et Décoration in Nice
- 3-4 November 2011: G-20 is organised in Cannes.
December
- Christmas markets in Antibes, Cannes, Nice, Breil sur Roya, Cabris, Cagnes sur Mer, Grasse, Le Bar sur Loup, Le Rouret, Opio, Monaco, Biot and Valbonne.
